The MPP5500 series are ultra compact thermal printers incorporating a fixed head mechanism with "Easy load" paper feature setting new performance standards for panel-mount units, requiring minimum depth behind a panel.

Multiple options for character sets and interfaces
Designed for maximum versatility, the MPP5500 series is capable of many different modes of operation. Numerous international character sets and barcodes are selectable and the printer will accept RS232 serial data. Centronics parallel and serial TTL interface are available as factory options.

Simple and easy to use custom printer
Options include 5Vdc or a 10-35Vdc switch mode power supply making this series ideal for most OEM applications. A low current model is also available and a self-test facility is incorporated. Paper changing is simplified by the use of a hinged front to the robust moulded enclosure incorporating a detachable roller facilitating the "Easy load" functionality.
