Easy-load paper reservoir
Incorporating an "easy-load" printer mechanism this compact thermal printer series has a secure locking paper reservoir lid
and a simple, fast paper loading arrangement. The printers are fitted with a standard reservoir lid (25m paper roll) or a low profile
lid (10m paper roll).
Versatile power options
Powered as standard by rechargeable NiMH AA cells (which can be permanently connected to a mains adapter for trickle charging), the
compact thermal printers also include a fast charge facility. UK, Euro, US and Universal versions of the mains adaptor are available.
All models are offered with a choice of power sources, including operation from an external 5V dc supply for fixed applications
(suffix X), from alkaline AA cells (suffix B), or from a vehicle supply (suffix V).
Configurable print capability - barcode, receipt printer
Designed for maximum versatility, the MCP7800 series has a number of configurable options with numerous character sets, barcode print
option, graphic print capability, making an ideal receipt printer.
Protective Boot
Moulded in a black thermoplastic material the boot is designed with ribbed sides for improved grip and also incorporates two magnets to permit temporary mounting on to metallic surfaces, eg toolbox, vehicle inspection lift etc.
The magnets, with an 8Kg pull resistance, ensure that the printer remains in position even when the print-out is being removed.
