Liz Peirce Named Director of North American Business Development

Martel Instruments Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of custom printer solutions, today announced the appointment of Liz Peirce as Director of North American Business Development. Martel Instruments Ltd. is headquartered in Stanley, County Durham, UK and provides line-of-business printer solutions worldwide for companies in key industries such as manufacturing, medical equipment, test & measurement and retail point of sale. Martel is known for cost-effective and highly reliable products, services and solutions for both start-up and mature businesses. Martel’s customers in the U.S. include a large transportation technology company and a medical equipment division of Abbott Labs.

Ms. Peirce has more than twenty-five years experience in IT Technology sales, business development and marketing roles specializing in printers, distributed systems, enterprise software security and virtualization. Liz’s professional experience includes OEM business development for Hewlett-Packard’s printer division, Director of Business Development at Certeon and Senior Consultant at WTCneed.  Prior to that, she held key management roles at Wind River Systems, Raptor Software, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corp.
